Opportunities to get involved

The TCAGO is a volunteer organization, and the work is divided between the board of directors and committees. Consider how you can become involved in an organization that emphasizes collaboration, collegiality, education, professional resources, artistic programming, and hospitality.

Positions of leadership on the board of directors provide opportunities for members to meet and make decisions that affect the ongoing work of the guild. Chairing one of the many committees or joining a committee is a good way to meet people and make a contribution to TCAGO. Choose an area that interests you and contact the Dean or a committee chair to find out more.

Member and non-member opportunities:

  • Hospitality – Serve refreshments at a TCAGO event, assist with preparation and/or clean-up or greet at a TCAGO event.
  • Fundraising – Contact Dee Ann Crossley, chair of the Development Committee to learn how you can assist in this area.

Member opportunities:

  • Host a TCAGO event at your church – contact the Program Committee if you are interested in hosting an event at your church.
  • Serve on the nominating committee – The nominating committee determines the slate of candidates for the election in April.
  • Help at a Pipe Organ Discovery Day – the Education Outreach Committee plans and executes this hands-on learning experience for young people.
