The Twin Cities Chapter of the American Guild of Organists Archives identifies, collects, preserves and makes accessible materials of long-term value for the benefit of the TCAGO, its members, and the wider community. The archives sustain our culture and safeguard our memories.
TCAGO archival documents are stored at the Minnesota History Center in St. Paul and Westminster Presbyterian Church in downtown Minneapolis. Collections of note include documents of early history, records of three national conventions that TCAGO hosted, copies of the chapter newsletter, Pipenotes, the Robert Pope Collection, and music, diaries and scrapbooks of Arthur Jennings.
Materials are available to the public for research at both sites. Our previous archivist, Jerry Bonstrom, has recorded the content of materials located at Westminster Presbyterian Church. Please abide by the instructions on the TCAGO Archives Management Document for research at Westminster Presbyterian.
Eventually, more archival materials will be scanned and made available online. See the tabs on the left for brief inventories of the collections at the Minnesota History Center and Westminster Presbyterian Church, as well as our Online Archives. Contact archivist Joshua Lindgren for more information.
