Dues Forgiveness and Members Relief Programs

We are pleased to announce that all chapter members’ dues will be paid ahead for the coming year, using moneys left over from cancelled events, and supplemented by reserve funds. All members’ renewal dates will now be extended by one year from the last renewal.

Members Relief Fund Donations

We have also established a relief fund, to assist AGO members who may be dealing with financial hardship or uncertainties. If any of you are able to respond to the forgiveness of your dues, and wish to provide some assistance to members in need, donations may be made to this relief fund in two ways:

      • Electronically, by selecting “Donations or Payments” under the “Giving” tab on the web site menu, or
      • By mail, send a check payable to the TCAGO:

Members Relief Fund Applications

The TCAGO will accept applications for one-time $500 grants on a rolling basis until the funding runs out.

Eligibility:  Current chapter members who have been furloughed, laid off, or suffered reduced income due to the pandemic crisis, whether from losing work in organist, church music, or teaching positions, or from losing other work that supplied an important component of personal income

To apply:  Please email David Jenkins, Dean, at dpjenkins@stthomas.edu, and include your answers to the questions below. All applications and inquiries will be kept confidential.

  1. Name and address of applicant
  2. Cause of lost income (furlough from church job, salary cut, lost contract work or teaching income, other)
  3. Date expected to return to work (if known and applicable)
  4. Does this lost income have a significant impact for you?
  5. Additional information or comments you would like to share
